We have never rented a house that had paint colors other than white, so when we moved in we were excited to have some color on the walls. However the dark burgundy was way too dark for us and we knew that it would only feel darker and more closed in this winter, so we decided to paint. We had talked about it for a while so I held off on hanging anything on the walls, I'm happy that it only took 2 months to get this done so now I can work on decorating. Here are some before and after pictures, we will have to excuse the messes, I was more excited about getting things painted and pictures hung than cleaning my house.

It looks great Em! Isn't it amazing how a little color change can make such a huge difference? What was the name of the paint color again? I'm thinking of using it as a name for our next child:) J/K
