Our Mini Getaway

Brent had the opportunity to look at a possible job and we were all able to join him.  Jaxon was so excited to stay at the hotel. I think he thought we would stay there forever.

 The night we got there I put Hendrix to bed and to help make sure he could fall asleep better I took Jax and Jag to the pool for a night swim.

 Then the next day while Brent was out I took all three boys swimming again.

It was a fun night away from home, a little crazy with the five of us and Payton all in one room but it was fun and it was a much needed break from our usual routine.

Daddy's Day Off

The boys and I love when Brent has a day off.  We decided to take him to the park for an adventure.  The boys really like this park because of the wide variety of things to see.  The rose garden.

Grandma and Grandpa Came to visit

Brent's parents came for a visit last month.  We always love it when we have family come to see us.  

Lake fun

 

 We had a chance this summer to go with a some of Brent's coworkers to a lake.  The boys had so much fun.  They played in the sand, we road in the paddle boats, ate some yummy food, and had fun out in the sun.

 A few days after that lake trip the boys and I went with some friends and a little hike (which was really just a walk) near a different lake then after having them running all over they got to get in the water to cool off. The scenery was beautiful and the water felt great.

4 Months

I'm a month late but I figured I'd better put this pictures up.

 

At 4 months Hendrix was 13.6lbs and 26 1/4inches.  He had dropped drastically on his growth curve for his weight so we had to go in at 5 months for another weight check and unfortunately he was slowing even more.  We then spent a week working with his diet and saw a small improvement so now we will go back in this week and check and make sure he is continuing to grow at a good rate.
