2 months

I can hardly believe that it has already been two months since Jaxon was born. The time just keeps flying by. This little guy is growing so fast. We go to the doctor next week for shots, (not looking forward to that) and we will see just how big he is. He is such a joy to have in our home and we love him so much.

This week I decided to give Jaxon his first haircut. He was born with lots of hair and it was starting to get a little long in places, 2+ inches. Other than it being a little close to nap time he did great. He sat really well and only cried a little bit, but only because he was getting tired. He really seemed to like the clippers and trimmers.

This is all his hair that I cut off. Really it isn't very much, but I think that his hair looks a lot better and now we can actually fix it.

Jaxon loves swings. Whenever we go to friends' houses that have a baby they always let him try out the swing and he absolutely loves it. We had been waiting to get a swing until we move to a bigger place but Holly told me about a great deal so we went ahead a got it.

He could sit there all day if I let him.

Also this week we celebrated the best day of our lives. That's right it has been three amazing years since we got married. These three years have been great and I'm looking forward to eternity with my best friend.

Upgrade

Brent's parents came to visit a couple weeks ago and when they did they brought a crib with them for Jaxon (thank you Brad and Steph). So He was able to upgrade from his bassinet....

to this very nice and roomy crib.

Jaxon really enjoys his new bed.

Mother's Day

Brent got me these beautiful roses for my first Mother's Day as a mom. He also made breakfast and a great steak dinner. He is such a wonderful husband.

Saturday night we headed to Walmart to pick out some plants. Since we live in an apartment and can't have a garden we decided that we would try planting some peppers and tomatoes in pots. I'm not the best gardener so I'm hoping these will grow.

This is the smiling face that I get to see every morning when I go to get Jaxon after his morning nap. This little boy is so much fun. He only takes short little naps during the day so he spends the rest of his time looking at everything and he loves to talk. He has been sleeping great the last week or so; he sleeps between 5 and 9 hours a night (which I especially love). I couldn't have asked for a better Mother's Day and I'm looking forward to many more with my boys, they are the best.
