Yard Work

Our new house has been great, we love it! We have been super busy working in the yard trying to get it looking a little better. These aren't the greatest pictures but hopefully it will give you an idea.  The flower garden areas which take up the majority of the backyard, have not been properly maintained for the last 5 years, so there is a ton of work to do!  This first picture is of the northeast corner of the backyard, it still looks this way

This picture shows where we stopped cutting out the overgrowth of flowers and grass the left side of the picture looked like the above picture before Brent went to town with the weed eater. And a big thanks to Brent's parents for all their help with moving and help in the yard!

Jaxon has been having a blast working outside with Daddy! 

 He really is a great helper.

 So as you can hopefully see we have been really busy with yard work.  We also ripped out a bunch of Mull berry bushes in our front yard and started to lay down sod.  I will hopefully post more before and after pictures of the front yard soon.  Now that we have done so much in the outside , I need to get busy and start to decorate the inside of the house, so it feels more like home. After a long day of working in the dirt Jax was worn out, Payton curled right up with him to take a nap together, this was a first so I had to get a picture!
