I only lasted 2 1/2 months before this crazy hair finally got the best of me. I just couldn't take the long straggly hair hanging on his ears and not being able to do much with it, without it looking out of control. Jaxon did great for me while I cut it, he sat fairly still in his Bumbo and watched the movie Up, and only really cried when I sprayed his hair with water.
Brent was lucky and he got a three day weekend over new years , which was so nice for us. Jaxon and I really enjoyed having him home, it was hard having him get up early and go back to work this morning. We had a great New Year's Eve, we went to a friend's house and had yummy food and watched a movie and played the Wii until about 9:30 when we decided that Jax had had enough. By the time we got home and got him in bed it was after 10, which is about 3 hours past his normal bed time. Then Brent and I crashed on the couch watching a movie around 10:30. A little lame I know but we had a great time together. 2010 was a great year for our family and we are excited to see what 2011 has in store for us.

Thats awesome that you guys got to spend the weekend together! I bet you can't wait to get this rotation over with!! When he is done with all the crazyness we need to plan a HUGE party!!
