10 Months

Jax is into everything. He figured out how to open the cupboards and drawers about a month ago and he just can't stay out of them and we haven't gotten around to putting locks on them yet. His favorites are the pots and pans and the drawer with all of the Ziploc bags, foil, and chip clips. It is a constant battle to keep him out and when mom gets distracted this is normally what happens.

He has hit that stage where he freaks out if I leave him alone in a room even if I'm only a few steps away, if he can't see me it is only a matter of seconds before he will start to cry. This makes doing anything around the house while he is awake a bit of a challenge. He loves to help with things like the laundry. He hates the vacuum and the broom. He crawls away crying and screaming from the vacuum and hides behind the couch or down the hall, and will sit crying while I sweep the kitchen floor.

He loves when Dad is at home and plays with him. These two have lots of fun wrestling and watching cartoons and sports together.

Jax loves music, he loves to dance and he sings with the radio in the car. If he hears any music no matter where we are he gets excited and will either start waving his hand in the air or bob his head and dance. He is also doing great with nap time, even if he isn't tired and ready to sleep he will have quiet time in his crib, he will read books and talk to himself until he falls asleep. Most of the time after naps when I go to get him he is sitting quietly looking at his book and snuggling with his blanket. As always he is doing great and we love him like crazy.

What a cutie! He is getting so big! I just took a class on the attachment of infants, his reactions of crying when you are out of the room means you have a good relationship with your baby! So good job!
