Life Lately

June was a very busy month for us. Brent spent most of the month studying like crazy for his boards. Once those were out of the way (the next day) we packed up and moved; we just got a bigger place, which is very nice, we feel very fortunate to have such a nice house to live in. Then just days after moving we went on a quick trip to visit family. Before our trip the only family that had ever met Jaxon were our parents, so this was a good chance for us to see everyone and for everyone to get to meet Jaxon. Also while we were visiting and family was there we decided it would be a great time for Jaxon's blessing. It was so good to see everyone and spend time with family.

Here are a few pictures of Jaxon and some of his cousins. All the kids were very excited to play with him and get a turn holding him.

We had a nice 4th of July at home and we were even able to enjoy lots of fun fireworks right from our living room, even Jaxon seemed to enjoy watching until it was time for him to go to sleep. I would imagine that some of the people in our neighborhood had to have spent quite a bit of money on their fireworks; I have never seen so many aerial fireworks that weren't part of Fourth of July show. Even though the fireworks went on until about midnight and were very loud Jaxon slept right through them. Now that July is here Brent has started back at school. The next two years are going to be a lot different than the last two, the last two years were spent in classes and doing book work, now it is time for the more hands on part of school. Brent seems to be excited to get going in his rotations and hopefully get a better idea what field of medicine he might enjoy pursuing. I'm very proud of him and all his hard work.
