Attempt At Being Crafty

I don't normally consider myself to be a crafty person, but I do enjoy making crafts. I recently decided that I wanted some of our living room furniture to match a little more. We have a coffee table that I found at the Goodwill, someone had painted it black and then it got a little scratched up, but I love it! So I decided that I would take our end table that Holly and Zach got us last summer and paint it to match the coffee table. It turned out to be a little bigger project than I first thought it would be, but I'm finally done!

This is what the table looked like before, then I spent hours sanding it down.

Halfway through sanding I started to wonder what I had gotten myself into, but I kept at it and finally finished.

I'm so excited to have my matching tables. I also feel a little better about my ability to be crafty.

You forgot to give credit to Brad and all those opportunities he "gave" you to be free labor. Looks sharps though. I would have just used it for kindling about halfway through do kudos for the perseverance as well.

Good Job. Just for the record-We paid Brent for his labors. At least I wrote a couple checks. I'm not sure if he paid Emily for helping, though. I hope he did.
