Hendrix

It has now been almost a month since Hendrix was born.  He is a great baby and we love him so much.  This time around things were very different then the other two.  I woke up on Sunday morning with contractions that were painful and they continued for more than an hour so I thought this is it we will be going to the hospital in the next few hours.  Nope I went ALL day having painful contractions every 5-7 minutes but they weren't getting any worse.  So after church and naps Brent and the boys and I went for a nice long walk around the neighborhood.  We got back and nothing had changed.  As we were getting dinner ready I could feel that they were getting more intense but still not enough to go to the hospital.  We ate dinner and got the boys ready and into bed.  Luckily my parents were here so as soon as we finished putting the boys to bed we left for the hospital.  As we were driving I told Brent I thought we had left too soon. Contractions were 5mins or less apart and had been for a while and intense, just not quite as bad as I had remembered with the other two.  Once we got to the hospital we walked the halls for another hour before finally checking in.  We got all checked in I was at a 5-6, and got my IV going and they got right to work getting me an epidural.  By this point it was about 10pm.  I was able to rest for the next four hours.  At 2 am the nurse checked and I was all ready to go.  They busily got the room  ready and waited for the on call Dr. to get there.  It was the best and easiest delivery I've had, 3 pushes and he was here, 2:48am and right on his due date.

He was 9lbs. even and 21inches long. He is such a good baby.  The boys are in love with him.  Jax is always very eager to see him with his eyes open.

We are slowly adjusting to having three and being out numbered.
