Christmas 2012 Part 1

Jaxon had been talking about going to see Santa for weeks, but when the big day came and I told him that we would get to go see Santa and sit on this lap he changed his mind and wanted nothing to do with him.  We went to our ward party at church and had a great dinner and many yummy desserts then headed to see Santa.  Jax was too busy running around to watch all the other children sit happily on Santa's lap.  So when our turn came our kids were the only ones that screamed and cried just from getting too close; so all of us were lucky enough to be in the picture.  The boys calmed down when Jax was able to stay a safe distance away in Dad's arms and Jagger stopped when he realized I was right next to him. So we managed to get a decent Christmas picture with Old St. Nick, and a nice yellow balloon.

We got snow off and on the week before Christmas, so one day Brent and I were shoveling the driveway while Jagger was napping and Jaxon enjoyed playing in the snow.  He doesn't get the concept of building a snowman yet, he thinks that you roll the snow into a ball so that you can kick and stomp the snow better.  He loves walking in freshly fallen snow making tracks.

He wanted to make sure that I got a picture of his shovel. He was having so much fun that he didn't want to come inside, but his hands were freezing so being the good parents that we are we bribed him with cookies and chocolate milk.
