Halloween

We had a very fun Halloween this year, the festivities started the weekend before Halloween.  Friday was a chili cook off and trunk-or-treat at church and Saturday was a party with Brent's coworkers.  The boys dressed up for both but Brent and I only dressed up for Saturday night.

He was an 80's rocker and I was his groupie.

 The 80's wouldn't be complete without blue eyeshadow! As I was getting ready Jax kept telling me to stop putting that stuff on my eyes; I guess he didn't think that I looked too glamorous.

 This year the boys were Thing 1 and Thing 2. Jagger was his laid back self and got his hair done and colored blue, Jaxon on the other hand was much less cooperative.  He screamed anytime we mentioned coloring his hair blue and wouldn't even let Brent spike it.  Taking pictures didn't go very well either.  Jag is much too busy to pose and Jax was eager to get out and get candy; so this is the best we could get.

This year was so much fun! Jaxon figured out really quick that people were handing out candy and would tell us that were needed to go to more and more houses.  He was a little quick to say Trick-or-treat and would say it before people opened their doors and then just stare patiently waiting for his candy.  He did a pretty good job telling everyone thank you.  He also let just about everyone know that he was Buzz Light Year; I guess I picked the wrong costume.  He had a blast and got way too much candy.  Jagger would just hang back with mom or dad and everyone was pretty insistent that he needed candy too.
