Latest Project

I decided a while ago that I was going to make a play kitchen for Jax. He really enjoys playing with pots and pans and was always pretending to cook. I have been putting it off for a month or so, so last Saturday was a beautiful day outside so I got to work with so help from Brent we got it almost finished. There are still finishing touches and things I want to do but until then it will do and Jax loves to play with it.

The other drawer will be the oven, but the paint didn't turn out, so I am repainting it and need to add hinges and a board to the inside. I need to find some knobs and I'm trying to decide if I want to add more burners. The pictures make it look like two more would fit great but when I was looking at it last night I thought it might be too crowded. Oh well, like I said, for now it works great and Jax likes it which is what is most important. His favorite feature is the faucet, he always asks to use that one when he needs to wash his hands.
