We celebrated Jaxon's birthday yesterday, it was a lot of fun and Jax had so much fun. We had a little party with a few of Jaxon's friends and family!
Candy for decorations and snacking, then we had everyone make their own goody bag to take home full of treats.
I found this idea for monkey cupcakes on Pinterest and had to make them.
I had been telling Jax for days that his friends were going to come over and everyone would sing happy birthday to him to try and prepare him, he still seemed unsure of what was going on, but at least he didn't cry.
Jax loves these girls, he spent a lot of the day dragging Madi around. She is so sweet to play with him. He was a little upset at the end of the night when he realized she was leaving. 
He liked his cupcake, well at least the frosting!
Jaxon can be hard to predict, he takes a while to warm up to people, even people that he knows, so I was a little nervous about how he was going to react to having so many people over to our house. He surprised me and did really well. The kids played in the backyard quite a bit and Jaxon did a good job of sharing all of his toys with everyone. By the end of the night he had consumed way too much candy and treats, add in a day with no nap, and all the fun of having friends and family over this boy was tired! He was ready for bed, he was pretty spoiled and got a new friend for his birthday(thanks again Mariann), he was so excited to get to sleep with his moose that he grabbed his blanket and was all ready to camp out on the floor. Brent put them both in bed and Jax was out pretty quick, I checked on him before I went to bed and he was snuggled up next to his moose snoring away. Jaxon is not a snuggler, so I would have to say that moose is very lucky.

She told me she got him a big moose...I didn't think it was that big! Holy moly. She loves to spoil :)
That was a fun time! Madi wanted a moose for her bday too so I got her one! We are soo excited to see you guys this weekend!!
