You want pictures?

Here is Jaxon. He was born on Saturday night. Here is the whole story... On Friday night at about 7 Em started having really painful contractions, so we knew that this was about to happen. Contractions kept getting closer and closer until at about 1 they were about 4 minutes apart. So we drove to the hospital and got Em checked out, but she was only at a 2. So we decided we wanted to continue the labor at our own house. We got home at about 330 and sat around and I tried to go back to sleep, but even with as good as I am at a) falling asleep and 2) ignoring Em, I could not fall asleep for very long. Em decided she wanted to go to the hospital at about 7. So we went back and she got checked again and thankfully she was at a 5. Thank goodness. Em got admitted and then the nice pain man came and took Em's pain away. It was awesome. So from about 8 until 8 Em could just relax and get some sleep. By 8 at night our Dr. decided that it was time for Jax to come out, so he turned off the epidural and told Em to start pushing while him and I went to go watch the rest of the basketball game that was on. On a side note Em and I and Em's mom filled out our tourney brackets a few days b/4 and Em was dominating all of us. In the first round including the play in she had 28 of the 33 games correct, I guess we could say this was just her lucky week... kinda. Anyway I did not leave to go watch the game b/c luckily there was a TV right there and I positioned myself just right so that I could watch the game and help coaching Em. After about 2 hours of pushing with out the comfort of an epidural Jaxon came out weighing 7lbs 5oz. He cried for a sec but stopped pretty quick. So far he has been a really good baby, he sleeps a lot and does like to be held and loved. Em is doing awesome and I now have aan even greater respect for what she had to go through and all that she is doing now. She is amazing and she is a great mom who loves her new baby.

We love him! Nice work Emily! When I had Abby, they turned off the epidural for the pushing...not very nice. Don't worry, they didn't do that with the other babies! He's a cutie and I hope you guys are getting some sleep!
