He also loves to help out with the dishes, he likes to take a more active roll with this task...
Don't worry I wash our dishes very well after Payton helps out. Doing dishes is Payton's favorite chore around the house but a close second is the laundry. He somehow always knows when I'm going to get the clothes out of the dryer and he comes running into the laundry room wagging his tail. He then follows me into the bedroom and makes himself right at home.
I'm really not sure why but he has always loved warm clothes right out of the dryer. He gets really upset at me as I put them away, and he tries harder to burrow deeper into the pile.

That is halarious! Looks like you have a very smart dog.
P.S. TOry thinks that is not sanitary that you let Payton do the dishes for you!
